This Friday Hands On Media will be attending not one, but two teacher conferences here in Montreal to deliver Professional Development workshops.
The first will be QPAT (Quebec Provincial Association of Teachers) where the workshop Teaching Media Literacy through Student iPad Media Projects will take place in Room 523-A 10:30-11:45am (75 minutes) @ Palais des congres.
We have also been invited to participate at SPEAQ's (Société pour le perfectionnement de l’enseignement de l'anglais, langue seconde, au Québec) annual convention. This second workshop is titled: How to Teach Stop Motion Animation with ESL Students, and will take place in the Hampstead Room 3:15pm-4:15pm @ Hotel Bonaventure.
Both workshops are hands-on, so stay tuned for photos and memories from this fun and educational day!
In addition to the workshops, these conferences will be a wonderful opportunity for us see old friends that we have met over the years, and to also introduce ourselves to many new teachers who are looking for engaging and educational media literacy opportunities for their own classroom. If you are interested in learning more, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we look forward to hearing from you.
