Intergenerational Digital Storytelling
Our Intergenerational Digital Storytelling Workshop brings youth, Elders, and community members together to create powerful short films that blend photographs, video, voice, text, and music into deeply personal narratives.
Through this hands‑on process, participants explore their identity, strengths, culture, responsibilities, and dreams for the future—while learning essential digital literacy skills. The workshop transforms participants from passive media consumers into active storytellers, using accessible on- and offline tools to share their perspectives and preserve community knowledge.
Adaptable to any theme or cultural focus, this experience fosters connection between generations, honours diverse voices, and builds confidence in creative self‑expression.
The workshop culminates in a community film festival, where participants share their stories, celebrate each other’s work, and reflect on the journey together.
